I used to look at iam and IP Today from time to time, but honestly I gave up print awhile ago. I kind of hate that Dennis Crouch is the blogger of record for patent because he’s a terrible writer who refuses to hire an editor, but there it is.
Of course zero barriers to online publishing means a lot of terrible takes are out there, so I’ll be watching this thread with some interest.
Thanks - I used to read Dennis Crouch a lot, but less and less since law school. Not a great writer, and I don't always agree with his choice of subject matter or opinion. Also, his comment section is unreadable.
I read Gene Quinn more now, but I would like something more formal and consistent (and on paper) that I can read.
Until recently (firm freeze), Law360 was a go-to for quick and varied view points.
That being said, I still obtain most of my information from reading the CAFC cases directly.
Why do you want hard copy? I like Patently O although Crouch is often obscure with his analysis of case law opinions and he dwells on sw/mechanical issues. He has simple links to fed circuit opinions
