How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

Anybody aware of the marketing corrections in Accenture for level 10? Accenture Interactive
I have already completed 1 year with Accenture and is now eligible for a sub level movement. What is the usual increment given for sub level movement? And what should be the ideal fixed package for level 10.1 ?
Did anyone watch the debate tonight

What’s your current base at Accenture and what will your estimated salary be once you’re promoted to SSE?
I know in India the notice periods are 3 months. You might be able to negotiate with Accenture as they’re facing a lot of attrition in India. You can potentially get them to match the offer if it’s lower after your promotion (assuming you get it).
I think you should be able to negotiate for that :) good luck!
Btw for context - I’m an Accenture Manager in the US (Level 7) and I’ve spent a majority of my career working with offshore teams in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai so I have a fair understanding of their process.
Op let me break this down for you.
1. Deloitte offer: 4 years and coming in at BTA is not acceptable. Then they will take another two Atleast to promote you to consultant. You are getting seriously low balled. So irrespective of what happens in Accenture, this offer is not lucrative in my opinion unless Deloitte is paying 2x comp in which case maybe the there is a financial incentive to move
2. Accenture- I do not know how performance cycle works there. Based sounds like your promotion to SSE is not final. Maybe find out more
3. Do not worry about you signing the Deloitte offer. A lot have signed and did not join. Should you choose to not join Deloitte, Be polite, professional and candid with the recruiter giving them the reason. They might say they will blacklist you forever. Don’t get angry or scared. It’s fine
There is no way that your manager can know for sure about the promotion. Anything can happen outside of their knowledge and control.
Second red flag is that you already accepted the offer. Are you a person of your word?
If you get too cute with this, you may end up with no job.
I agree that there’s no way the CC would know for sure about promo since those aren’t announced yet,
But, SM with all due respect, even if OP accepted the offer they can choose not to go for it after the fact. It’s all At will employment. Deloitte can technically rescind the offer at anytime as can any other firm. OP and any job seekers also have the right to choose best option for them. (As long as this isn’t a recurring behavior where they accept multiple offers). Deloitte will have no problem replacing a BTA resource and OP can choose to stay with Accenture or go to any other company they wish. Especially given BTA probably won’t be career progressing.
How much is Deloitte offer?
Have you signed your offer letter? If not, you can negotiate. But why switch when you’re getting promoted? Is the offer also manager level at Deloitte?
Depends on your current level, YOE, salary, and path to promo. There’s nothing wrong with Deloitte as a company.
Hope they told you correctly because they could be wrong?

Got it. I am assuming that’s in India so it’s slightly different than the roles etc in US
I feel like there is some critical piece of information missing. I interview many candidates, and if I saw someone with 4 years of experience I'd either recommend hiring them at Consultant or Sr. Consultant level. I would never recommend analyst level for 4 years unless there was special circumstance (unless they were coming from industry and from a small company and a community college).
@deloitte 2 I agree analyst is under leveled for 4 YOE. That being said, OP is in India where the leveling works differently. I’m not sure about Deloitte levels in India but for Accenture, new joiners start at Level 12 (junior analyst/associate). OP is currently level 11 (analyst) and may be promoted to level 10 (sr. Analyst). The promotion years in india is also very different. For example, A typical consultant level in the US is maybe 3-5 years out of college but in India it’s actually about 10 years of experience.
