Java Developer here! I am slogging in my current company. Too much work pressure and I've received peanuts in the name of appraisal. That too when the company is doing well. Added two U.S. clients this year on top of existing clients. So, trying to switch.

Recently, interviewed at Publicis Sapient. Received an offer for 22 LPA, trying to reach 30 LPA in the next 2 years. Would it be possible? I've heard there are frequent appraisals.

I have an offer from Robert Bosch of fixed 25.3 LPA, and an offer from HCL with fixed 27.4 LPA.

Is there anyone in HR that can clarify this for me a little- Hawaii is a state that prohibits future employers from asking your salary. How does this apply to remote positions? Is it only based on the home state of the company? Or would it apply because I am applying from Hawaii?

Question: can an employer legally withhold your personal possessions after you leave the firm? I left my old firm recently and they were not happy about me joining another consultancy. They are withholding any belongings that I left in the office and have ignored my emails asking to arrange a pick up or delivery of my personal items. So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise.
