Hi everyone. A PDM specialist here. Joined Deloitte 5+ years back as ‘Senior Solution Engineer -On-site’.Later in June 2017 all these ‘on-site’ folks got rebranded as PDM. Slowly started to realize how PDM is getting sidelined as a ‘discountable’ group. Sometimes I feel contract jobs are better than being at PDM , but obviously tied up with D for visa related issues.No career progression so far and don’t see any positive changes in the near future as well.I think it’s high time to call it a day.

Just have a word with your manager/director. They can waive off your notice period
Manager won't be able to waive off, would need director level involvement as well as approval from HR
I feel they will disagree , just on the name of policy. Is there any good reason which works in such cases ?
HR for sure will, in case the director depends how they are, what the reason is and more factors

I am not sure on the Deloitte USI work culture..
You can get reduction in price period but have to pay. Partners only have power to waive off amount and they hardly do it unless there is a very strong medical reason.
