I already resigned and have 2 months to join new company. Jumping off a related topic: am I delusional to not care about jr/int/sr level titles? I've been a "copywriter" since the day I started and steadily gained responsibility, autonomy, and money. Happy with career progression, always getting juicier assignments, work directly with ECDs/CCOs... am I missing something crucial? Is my case an anomaly? Or is it okay not to push for a title upgrade?

I have an experience of 6 years in Production and Application Support. I have worked as middleware administrator as well for Jboss and Weblogic.
But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
But I am not sure without any practical knowledge, will I get a job at this many years of experience in a different profile.

My degree is from a fully accredited institution but I have sent numerous amounts of applications and no company wants to take the chance. Since I've been here I work my way up in the few industries that I've worked in. I just need a opportunity to apply my knowledge and experience with the Mechanical Engineering field.
