I have conveyed the same to HR that i can join 10 days later for which she said she’ll have a word with Hiring manager. I gave her a call today and she says the hiring manager is yet to confirm! I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
