Don’t ask me my opinion if you don’t want the truth

Força, Chapecoense! 😔
Hello all, I'm currently umenoyed on h1b with timer ticking. I have made through on-site rounds with Google and waiting for team matching. I have 4 weeks on h1b unemployment days. I have been seeing that team matching at google at times can be upto or moee than 2 months. And still chance for no offer after the wait. Should I take another company's offer and continue with Google application at later stage? Any suggestions on best course of action for me? Google @h1bvisa
Any green franchises?!

As a single in Germany, a salary of around €3.8k per month after tax will put you in the top 5% earners. That’s around €80k per year before tax.
€80k is more or less the entry salary at MBB/T2 or SC/M salary at T3/Big4.
I‘d say, you need €2-3k per month to live a comfortable life in Berlin (nice flat, eating out occasionally, buy some stuff, vacations, etc).
So with a net salary of €3.8k, you can have a comfortable but not luxurious life and still safe some. But you still need to budget well.
Good to know I've been offered above 5%. 😅 Just like to put out a thought I found in process very helpful. Tax+social security contributions are a lot compared to many other places in world so you should ask how much will be in hand after taxes per month to make a solid decision. Because if you are earning near same amount in home country then probably you are going without a hike. Definitely a good place but costly in terms. Berlin is still cheaper that many other places. But there are other costs that you need to consider. For e.g. cost of getting a driver license is pain in ass and its not even going to influence whether or not you get a license. The limited number of vehicals available (which btw requires tuv inspection every 2-3 years) in market and mostly over costly market and services related to it. Mandatory insurance for drone if you are into photography field. Learning german is a must if you want to survive without getting charged 2x or 3x prices. I would highly recommend to consider these and other factors as well before moving as it would help one make a decision if offer is good for them or low value as compared to what they are getting paid. If you are travel bug, this is right place!!
