Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

It depends on your lifestyle. But without knowing anything else, yes $130k should be sufficient.
I can go upto around 2k. Just making my mind right now as rent is high in Seattle as compared to where I am moving from
For someone who works remote, likes nature and wants access to the city you might consider bainbridge island.
Not sure I'd recommend this to someone that's single and also likes going out. 130k is plenty to live solo in the city.
I did some research. Seems like Ballard is a really good option to live
Lot of crime in Ballard, and it’s more residential for sure. A handful of good bars but I wouldn’t recommend it
Yes 130k is plenty to live anywhere by yourself.
SC1, do you mean downtown? Seattle is a big area. I have zero issues finding street parking where I live.
Bellevue and Kirkland are great for families, but, IMO, boring.
Depends what comfortable means to you and if you need to commute to office. Traffic is terrible here so think about how often you’ll need to commute. If more than 2 days per week, you’ll want to live close to work.
I live in Seattle, similar pay and Im comfortable living alone.
If you're remote and love outdoor activities, consider Redmond. As much as I don't want more people moving there, it has a pretty vibrant downtown, growing like crazy the last few years, trails and biking right there and an easy drive to skiing and other outdoor activities. If you want to be in Seattle, then Green lake is a good choice. Depends on if outdoors means hiking, biking, or means you want to go out your door to eat, walk, etc. I run into people not from here who define outdoors as anything outside their place as outdoors, walking to eat or shop vs doing outdoor activities such as skiing, boating, hiking, biking etc.
There are plenty of walkable neighborhoods. I would getting a feel for various neighborhoods. Eastside vs City is the biggest choice. On the Eastside, for a vibrant walkable neighborhood it is mostly bellevue. (And then lots of suburbs).
In the city there are lots more choices. I am sure this group could make suggestions.
Yeah 😎 ! You won’t be alone too long lol !
Lol
If you like skiing or anything to do with Mountains don’t live in Ballard. It’s a pain to get out of Ballard! But it is a great place for nightlife and probably meeting people. I personally love and live in West Seattle. But from time to time, I think about moving to Kirkland or Issaquah. I am in my mid 30s. Oh and Mt Baker is a great option and if you’re in your 20s Cap Hill.
I don't find Ballard area hard to get out of at 5am on pow days ❄️
