I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid. I've only been here 8months & want to leave as I need the money. Should I start looking elsewhere even if I haven't been here for a year?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

I have offer from Accenture with 15.5 LPA with 21percent VPA including 3.25 L variable pay. The pay is for Level 10 and domain is SAP, YOE is 4.6. So what is the pay range for Level 10 and I do have counter offer so can I negotiate further with Accenture.

I was supposed to join Accenture on 1st October but on the onboarding day I got to know my background check is still pending and upon multiple follow ups with recruiter she told me my background check is clear in the back end but it's not getting updated correctly in the portal hence my onboarding is delayed Can any manager or leadership person guide me how to proceed or fasten the process. Is it worthwhile to learn excel for strategy consulting? How widely is it used at MBB?

I am confused. I am shifting from India having worked in Deloitte for 4 years to PwC London as Senior Associate. PwC is not paying me any sort of relocation allowance. I have inquired with someone at PwC and they used to pay 5000 pounds as relocation allowance earlier. I have tried to negotiate very hard with the HR but to no avail. What should I do?

MS Teams Tips:
1. Always prefer to ping someone and check their availability before calling them directly. If someone calls you directly ask them to ping you and check before calling directly.
2. For Groups in Teams, Prefer to mute the notifications, else they would continuously buzz and disturb you.
3. Don’t ping on a weekend or Holiday. If someone does the same, prefer not to reply.
4. Deliberately put the status as offline in teams every Friday evening.

Hey Fishes, this time a general question:

Has the WFH made you more productive or less productive and is it a heavy toll or you can bear for the rest of your life or not.

I know for people with 5+ exp is it good as they can be with family but what about the people like us whom covid hit at the very early stage of the career.
No exposure, no interaction with the team physically and not even much movement from that damn swirling chair.
