I'm working in vfx industry as a Production Coordinator. As you know, there has been a lot of recession that has happend world wide and since the vfx industry is small in India, there are not many options available currently. Plus the work hours are toxic which is taking a toll on my physical health. I'm simultaneously looking for any job role that suits my profile for example Project Coordinator. Please post your thoughts if I can get into any other role.

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

Which is the more lucrative and flexible long term career path when comparing .NET development vs salesforce development.

By flexible I mean in terms of moving between positions, companies and technologies.

I've done both and am currently doing salesforce development but don't want to get pigeonholed.

I am project manager in clinical research industry (CRO). After earning PhD, I gave up my science dream to take a more stable job. After slowly climbing the ladders, I feel like I finally got a seat at the table. Half the days I like the hustle, but now I miss being creative. I want to take more brainstorming, decision making responsibilities but I don’t see that in the career path for PM. Career path usually goes like this- Sr PM, Director, Sr Director, and so on. But all do same work.

How did you all get your first job in PM? Did you start as a Project Coordinator or PM? I have the skills of a Project Coordinator and would like to just transition to a PM role but it’s been difficult to find junior PM roles.
