The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

In January 2020 my husband and I both had a great idea to turn an extra guest bedroom into a home a office we could both use when either works from home (I travel for work and at that time he was at office 5 days a week.) We decided to use a dining room table as the desk, that way we could both look out the front window ( other side of room) and neither of us had to look at a wall. We drilled a hole through the center of the table so that all the cords could run under the desk and not on top. All office equipment is in the closet connected by Wi-Fi to lessen the clutter.
Nah I just shifted my desk so I'm nestled in between wall and desk. Room separators seem a bit gauche.
Thank you, but I am looking for folks who have it. I love the idea. :)
This is the view we both wanted. It was great for 2 months until COVID lockdown, then both full time at home for rest of 2020, so sitting across from one another, both managing a team and on a call constantly didn’t work well to say the least 🤣
So I created an office in our main guest bedroom. I also added a large monitor so guest can use the office space if needed when they stay with us, since so many are virtual these days.
Check Pinterest. This might be something you can actually do yourself without a ton of experience.
Thanks for the suggestion. I use Pinterest frequently. :)
Oh wow!! Your space looks so comfy and cozy. My wife and I both work from home as well, but we’re in the beginning stages of looking for our forever home. A window to the outside is a must have. Thanks for the inspiration!
