Hi everybody, wondering best way to apply to consulting companies in ME. Currently a consultant in boutique US firm w/ 1.5 YOE a b.s. in business, masters in analytics and a fluent Arabic speaker. Ideally MBB for exit opp/ later on but anything top 10 is good imo. Also how does the pay work? If I'm from America will I get paid the American salary in USD? How's the WLB? Regular consultant 60-70? Can anyone provide a referral? Ive been to MBB final rounds off little prep before so confident now.

Hey guys, I'm looking a job for a Senior Creative in NYc. What would it be the fair salary to ask for?
How tough is it to break into a FAANG PM role at mid-level if you have less prestigious experience? I have 10+ YOE in product, but some was at a tiny meh startup that fizzled out, some was in the digital wing of a large old healthcare org, and though my current role is GPM at a “name brand” tech company, it’s on the smaller side. Went to a good-but-not-Ivy school. What qualifications and experience are FAANG companies looking for when hiring mid-level PMs? Can I break in at mid-level from here?
I don't have a ton of experience under my belt working at many agencies (worked a long time at one) and I'm pivoting into an ACD role. Any tips or experiences from others that have not followed a traditional advertising path but are still killing it?
Hii.. i had my director round in Deloitte. After this i got call from HR regarding salary expectation. Is there any more round exist in Deloitte?

Applied to KPMG (with a referral) and RSM (without a referral). How long does it generally take to hear back when applying as an experienced professional for a manager role? Haven’t applied anywhere since college so my idea of timing is pretty outdated. Thanks!
There's a major QSR i recently got an offer for, and someone who interviewed me said I can ask him any questions I had. I noticed he came from consulting and so I'm curious to ask him which industry is better and what the similarities are between this role and consulting. Should I ask him that or is this HR bait?
Was offered by D today in consulting, experienced manager. Have a competing offer with ACN Strategy but was more inclined towards D’s role. Sign on bonus at D is very low, what’s maximum offered at M?

Currently working for a global tech company on a decent-ish salary where I've been two years. The work is ok. It can be interesting at times, and most of the time I'm left to my own devices to get on with my work. I randomly applied for a higher level director position with a competitor on a similar role (less client exposure, more internal work) and now been offered the role with a 33% pay increase, but now I'm not sure whether to accept for the upheaval etc. Any advice?
I am doing UXR interviews, and although I have read that a background in design is not required for UXR, I have been asked a few times now what my design experience is, and if I know how to use design apps. I have ample research experience and a solid understanding of product development cycles, which I think should be enough to land me a UXR role, but is it? I would love to hear from folk whether it’d be worth taking a few design courses!
Who’s got that A&M referral?! 👀
This might be for the Exit Opportunity bowl, but wondering if anyone had insight into the Cigna Enterprise Strategy group? I don't have many contacts in the US and don't have a sense for what the internal strategy roles at the large health insurers are like, but I saw a posting recently and was immediately tempted. I'm at ~7 YOE made up of Big 4 and now at a boutique firm.
Interviewed with big 4 month back but are still in process of interviewing others. Another recruiter who doesn’t know I am already being considered wants to chat for a better role. How to handle?
What’s the highest comp EY managers in Audits received this week? I know someone who got a 30% increase? Not sure if I want to believe that but happy for them nevertheless haha.
My current salary is 57k (2 yrs out of Master degree), Los Angeles. I am so tired to have panic attacks and occasional nightmares because I am very stressed about the money that I have in my bank. I often have negative balance. Not sure what to do and idk how to ask for a raise. I feel guilty to ask since my company is doing my visa, but at the same time I feel depressed because my low salary.. any advice?
If you work in agency recruiting, how are you compensated? Base + bonus, 100% commissions, base only?
Is an MBA or tax LLM more beneficial for a US attorney? Let’s assume a top 10 program for either degree.
Alright Fish Friends, can I please get your help? At a Big 4 with 10+ YoE in legal, operations, tech and want some thoughts on what kinds of roles and companies would be a good fit in industry. Catch is golden handcuffs here, which means I need TC at $300k or better to jump (sole breadwinner). Thoughts?
What is the extent of details revealed in a background check? If I left voluntarily vs was let go - does that show up in a background check? Long leave of absence say 6 months (health or parental leave or just personal leave) - does that show up? Which specific teams I worked with or what kind of projects I worked on? Past promotion dates?

I don't have a degree in CS so I consider myself lucky to have the job I have. Even so, I was discussing salaries with some of my coworkers recently and I realized I was being paid the least. Is it right to ask my boss for a raise if I've been working effectively so far?
