I had an interview with IBM for band 8 , completed salary discussion with HR and Bgv forms.HR was told yesterday that I will be getting offer letter today but when I check with HR today she was saying g that the position is on hold and let me know after a week.
May I know whether I will get offer letter by next week.

I had HR discussion with cognizant on 11th June.As per HR I should have got offer letter in a week's time post approval.Till now I have no update from HR.sent many chasers as well called HR numerous times but no response.Any idea how long cogni HR takes to release offer letter.

Just a suggestion - Hide the company name and any references to company and people(Recruiter/HR) mentioned in the document, whenever one need to share such documents.
I have hidden the hr name but company name is still there.... Will it cause any issue??

It's illegal to verify offers & is not a standard practice. Don't worry at all, a company can't withdraw offer based on this scenario.
In worst case, you can say that I haven't shared the offer, my gmail was hacked, someone impersonated me, bla bla...but it won't happen.
Just to be safe side, blackout the company name in offer letter before sharing.
I still have this doubt. If company name and everything is hidden, anybody can create an offer letter. What is the purpose of sharing then?
There is no issue in sharing the complete offer letter. HR who is giving more salary on the counter offer must be sure about the authenticity.
Also, bigger companies don't do these things.
So, its ok to share the complete offer.
On the salary structure part the company name is also mentioned along with HR sign..will they enquire about the authentication of offer letter .??
Mostly they will not enquire about the authenticity from the company which has given you the first offer. So chill!
