Hi guys, I’m a Law (Hons) and Health Sciences (anatomy & physiology) grad, and am finishing off my practical legal training (PLT) to be admitted soon(ish). I have a little under a year of experience in legal secretary/assistance, and around 6 years experience in building and construction admin, I also do heaps of volunteering weekly on the side. I was just wondering what kind of jobs are available for someone with my experience and degrees?

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).

I’m an associate at a personal injury firm in FL where I’ve been able to learn tons about litigation and get to help people every day….but I also want to get into entertainment law (it’s a dream that I can’t let die yet).
It’s the beginning of my career, any input on how to pursue both areas of law?

Any other first years out there worry that this virtual environment just won’t be able to teach them? I worry I’m not getting the same “plugged in” experience when I can’t knock on a door or walk into an office. Doesn’t help that my anxiety is heightened by feeling so isolated. The learning curve is high enough as is and I’m not sure I’ll ever learn enough virtually to be useful in big law...am I alone?!?

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to land my first product design role and I can’t seem to get my foot in the door. I’ve asked mentors from ADPlist to review my LinkedIn and resume as well as my portfolio and I haven’t had any luck.
