I am working on project which located at Mumbai location and I dont want to work from office at Mumbai Location. I am fine to work at Pune location i.e base location of Tech M. I am already serving notice period and last 20 days remaining. HR communicated to me that its compulsory to join at Mumbai location & if not joined then they will take action as it will be constructed as willful insubordination.Also need to look for accommodation.

Experts. There is an ask from client to measure a KPi 'synchronization measure from raw materials to FG' from planning team. They need my suggestion. Is it right to think about throughput time (processing time +inspection time+moving materials+Queuing time) or the other way of showing split up ( washing +cutting + inspection + freezing +packing materials). Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I cannot make decisions and my decisions are overridden by him.
I have 2 yrs experience and it's now my onus to negotiate with PPL in VP,EVP position and also handle testing & dev team.

I'm 6 months old at D! Planning early promotion next year.. counselor and pm both are backing me.. I need to go to India for at least 4 weeks in Dec ... most probably would be rolling off from current project by then .. would this vacation hurt my promotion chances coz of utilization etc?

This has led to issues in self-referencing title. I’ve been project manager, data engineer, developer, modeler, analysts, principle DB developer, etc. Most of my w2 work has been from offers of 1099 clients so I am usually asked to define my own title. Any T-shaped data people who run into this?

I’ve noticed an increase in clients discussing breeding their pets. Animals that, IMO, definitely should not be bred. What do you say to encourage the client to reconsider?
