This is a new job, my first day was the first day the whole firm worked from home. It’s also much more challenging and demanding than my previous firm, which is what I wanted, but I haven’t been able to dive in and face the challenge the way I had planned to because I’m really struggling with working from home, both logistically and psychologically....

I keep seeing new GD reviews about the company moving away from the hybrid work model and mandating RTO. Can any current employees explain what’s going on? I’m starting next month as a FT Director based in TX. Curious what the current remote (or lack of remote) climate is like and how employees are feeling about it.

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. I’m getting pressured to attend firm events as well

Is HCL providing WFH setup cost to new joiners?

Hi.. I have received an offer from a consultancy stating for 3 months i will be on their payrol as infosys as client and after 3 months i will be moved to Infosys payrol with permanent wfh. I have other offers with wipro amd capgmni both with same package. Please help me if i can trust the consultancy and go for infosys option

I’m currently at a studio that has been good to me. They took a chance and allowed me to change career paths. They gave me numerous opportunities that lead me to now, being the head of a department.
