I attended interview and got selected in EY for data engineer role,yet in offer letter it says senior data analyst, i opted location as Coimbatore but when I asked HR about this he told that this package is for Chennai only and if it is for Coimbatore there would be 1 Lac cut from my offer I have 3.8 yrs experience and my CTC is 11 LPA and now EY offered 14 LPA, and if I want Cbe as location it’s again 13 LPA. Pls guide me on this, is 14lpa is the avg for DE(4yrs), do CTC change based on loc

One of the things that my ADD coach helped me with was realizing that I wasn’t prioritizing activities that help me feel recharged. Between work and home responsibilities, I was just burnt out and overwhelmed.

So now when I start to get burned out I focus on reducing auditory overwhelm, getting outside, listen to music, get comfortable, read a fun book, etc.

What’s your worst proposal writing experience?

Question about inclusion…. I’ve been teaching inclusion for 5 years so I’m still a newb, but a first year coworker of mine said she got points off on her observation because her kids were scattered in the classroom and she was having to move from kid to kid to assist. While I see the point of putting them together for convenience, I don’t agree with this at all! To me this is like singling them out by putting them all together instead of INCLUDED amongst peers. What do y’all think?

Have you been fired before even starting your new job?

I signed for a new job two months ago and will start next month (3 mo notice period in Europe). They were very keen on getting me on-board ASAP before signing but since I signed the contract it has been silent from the new employee. I've emailed them with questions as I'll be re-locating to NL and it takes them 1-2 weeks to reply. Given all that's going on in the world, I'm worried they might fire me before I even start.
