Coach
I do feel that your nursing background will be helpful in medical affairs related work.
Perhaps you could try for MSL positions, you may be competing with PharmDs and may be PhDs.
See whether you can get some experience in clinical research, perhaps project manager, recruitment, site management, etc. perhaps with a CRO first. Likely, there will be a huge pay cut!
I really don’t think pharma hires Nurse Practitioners to help with duties you would perform in your nursing profession. Maybe one or 2 NPs to manage in house urgent care.

Don’t be discouraged by the no. of applications on LinkedIn…more than
70% of those are from people with irrelevant job experience.
Have you looked into any Patient Advocacy or Patient Engagement roles? Your patient experience from nursing background may be attractive to the hiring managers.
