What’s the culture like at FTI Consulting?
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?
Deloitte audit Vs. Grant Thornton Tax. I have an offer from Grant Thornton and From Deloitte as an Intern this summer. Deloitte is the bigger name and pays a bit better but Grant Thronton has way nicer people and known to have a way better cultre and work environment. What should I do? Where should I go?Deloitte Grant Thornton
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.
New to Fishbowl?

I haven’t interviewed with Expedia, but the only company that offered me a HireVue interview was Fidelity for a financial customer associate role. They took over 2 months to get back to me, by which time I’d already accepted another position (idk why Fishbowl says I’m at UT, I graduated and now work as an Account Executive at a FinTech SaaS company). With a similarly large company using HireVue, it may take a substantial amount of time before they respond… or maybe that’s just Fidelity.
As far as the interview itself, you’ll have the opportunity to prepare for about a minute between seeing which question you’re expected to answer, and when the recording begins. Depending on how Expedia sets it, you may have multiple opportunities to record your answer, or just one. They’ll probably just be questions about your personality since HireVue questions are typically uniform; in place of a screening call (tell me about yourself and experiences, etc.)
Thank you!! I really appreciate your response.
Any idea what the further process would be like?
No problem! I’m not too familiar with Expedia’s process going forward from there, since every company’s process is unique, but I’m sure somebody else here would be able to give you some more direction, and you can look into Glassdoor for people that have applied to your specific position and see what they have to say about the interview process. Hope this helps!
