Hi! I’m an American citizen who is currently working abroad in London, I also studied abroad at a top European Business School. I am currently looking to stay in consulting but make a move to the east coast, I have 18+ months experience, excellent reviews, all at a Tier 2 firm. I have struggled breaking into any consulting firms in the US(can’t even get an interview most places) Any advice for firms looking hiring and open roles that would match my experience, references of course appreciated!

After 4 years in consulting I think I’ve lost most of the hard skills that made me employable when I first graduated. I know if I stay they’ll continue to diminish so I’m stuck in a hole of buzzword project shithousery. How can I go about fixing this?

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? Hi Fishes, I'm a Python developer now and I need to switch my role related to AI/ML for long term.
Currently I 've planned two options and I'm bit confused which road i've to take:

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

I have a job offer for 3 months that pays 25% more than my current job. It is more into civil engineering and I think the experience I get will help getting more job offers in the future. Can someone give me more advice if I should stay in my current job which I hate or take the offer and look for something at the same time.

I have a recurring $30 charge on my credit card that I can’t figure out what it’s related to. The vendor name gives me nothing helpful and going back through emails, I don’t know what it might be - I’m not getting an invoice.
