Cognizant Hi, I'm having interview in soprasteria for dot net developer. I'm having 5.9 yrs experience. Anybody know what will be the interview process, how many rounds & will it be difficult or medium? I'm currently working in cognizant with 6.2 as CTC. Pls don't ask about my CCTC as I'm not in right frame of mind. I was cheated here and desparate to move. Currently holding tcs offer of 9.7. It’s not just Sopra Steria doing it. Most of the companies are tracking it. By tracking I mean on a month a set number of days are to be present in office. That has been divided into 3 days each weeks. Not you not having friends or new to a city will not change the Hybrid policy.
For you if it really bothers then look for remote work whichever company is providing that facility. Or continue following the office norms.
Haha. I hope you’ve not started your professional journey recently. Don’t take me in a wrong way. This great place to work certificate is being sold to every Tom Dick & Harry company in the recent years. Every company is certified as a Great Place To Work. Is TCS, HCL not certified. Have you asked around what their yearly increments are to employees. You’d be surprised.
An old colleague who joined HCL got a 0% hike this year. So in that way if I ask how is that a Great Place To Work. But see how many employees do they have under their belt.
See all these things can be debated but overall at the end of the day there’re only 2 choices as individuals we have and I’ve already mentioned them in my previous comment.
Talk to your manager regarding this. They always brag about best place to work. They should listen to your needs regarding WFH. If they don’t, look for opportunities where you may get permanent WFH.

The challenge is they always look for strong reasons to give work from home. And there is too much justification required. Even if you are a performer. My family cannot move to noida because my parents do business in my hometown.
