Hi folks, I am currently working in a product based Tata organisation. However, I want to switch to service based work and have been selected at Tech Mahindra as a Business consultant at U4 level. They are giving me 35% hike on my current salary. Not sure if this would be the right deal! Can someone throw some light on the consultancy wing of TechM and the work culture in here?!

I feel like the benefits are great but I’d rather make more now. I am a previous LEO for 4 years who switched to paralegal so I have my leo retirement. Pro se plaintiff, an attorney, filed a complaint alleging mold defects after closing on a property. Client, layperson, may have agreed orally to a settlement amount without proof of damages prior to filing appearance and obtaining an attorney. Client filed appearance pro se, then plaintiff sent over a draft settlement agreement few weeks later which client didn’t sign. Client then got an attorney, filed answer, etc. Can this oral agreement be voided for coercion, indefinite mat’l term, etc?
