Have you interviewed for a job where you haven’t even spoken to the recruiter? At this company I’ve dealt with the interview scheduler, hiring manager and even a panel for my second interview with the director and another senior manager…but no recruiter.

I reached out, but still nothing…so I don’t even know the real comp, benefits or specifics of this job. Has anyone encountered this? I’m thinking I’d speak to the recruiter once an offer is made.

What is the most amount of times you have Applied to one specific company? It could be different job titles and different states but how many times have you applied to the same company? Sodexo , levy, compass group, Hyatt Hilton Marriott have Applied to all those 30 or 40 times over the past three years. Talk about insanity. I stopped applying six months ago I’m no longer wasting my time with people like this!

Hi. I’m based in NYC with 10 years legal experience looking to get into a startup / tech. Ive been applying to jobs for over a month and have heard nothing back or I have gotten an immediate response denying my application. It seems like I’m not getting past the ATS system that many have in place. I tried optimizing my resume for each position but still nothing. I don’t think it’s even getting looked at. Does anyone have other tips or recommendations for a great recruiter that can help?

Well I’m kind of hoping this gets the boost I want it to. I have been applying to jobs left and right after my company announced it was shutting down in May. I found a new job, but it is not at all the right fit - including a decrease in pay, a misogynist owner (who told me I will never get answers or respect because I’m a female), among other problems. I am hoping someone has a referral for a senior level operations position and can help me find a better fit. Thank you 🙏🏼

Any tips for how to turn down offers (mid-sized firms, NYC) without burning bridges? I really connected with the name/managing partners at these firms, but don’t want to lateral because I am not sure I’d like the work they do enough to justify the paycut at my level (the work is rather finance/NY focused). To preserve the possibility of joining later, I want to send appreciative emails to the partners, but don’t feel like I can give my real reasons without looking bad. Any tips?

Hi, I need some advice on which internship offer to take.
1. Midsize Marketing/Ad Agency, Digital Marketing/Analytics Intern
Pros: Great company culture, very positive reviews
Cons: Not as well-known outside of my area, potentially less mobility for full-time after grad, smaller (approx 500 people)

2. US Bank, Corporate Finance Intern
Pros: Large company, name recognition, high mobility, slightly higher pay
Cons: Unsure about their culture, I am less familiar with Corporate Finance
