I am currently negotiating a compensation package and part of it includes stock options. What other information do I need to evaluate if the equity component is a good offer ? It’s a ~40 person company and I’ve received the the number of options, most recent valuation, and current strike price. I have had countless networking calls with various alumni in different professions and have learned plenty of great information, but have not gotten lucky enough to find an internship.
