Got a call on Thursday that I have been referred and got interviewed on Friday. Interview was great, however, did not get any call post interview. Shall I wait as yesterday and today are weekends.

In Mindtree candidate portal interview status showing as ‘Parked’ what does this mean ?

I just got an offer from a company that I have mixed feelings about. Team seems great but Glassdoor reviews, not so much. I’m currently interviewing with a couple of other companies that are amazing and would be my too choices. However, I’m very early in the process so it will probably take a month or so to get to the offer stage with them. I don’t want to fall between two chairs for not taking this offer and then not getting any from other companies. What should I do? Best strategy?

Can one apply for all at the same time?

If a candidate is not selected, would he be eligible to apply again immediately for another role?

Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

So I’m engaged in an interview process for a top FinTech company. It started the 1st week of August and just now I’ve gotten word from my recruiter that they didn’t update on any decisions made. I had my 3rd & final interview last Friday. My recruiter doesn’t communicate well nor does she let me communicate with the company direct. May I being led on? Hi guys. How mych does it usually take to get an offer after last interview in EY? My external recruiter called me and said that he received a very good feedback on me and they are interested but he is not sure about time frame as its a Christmas time and they need to approve with commercial etc so he is not sure that they will proceed before Christmas. Is it normal? Or it’s mean they have some doubts?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

Does it look bad in my resume to resign after less than a year at a job? writing here the time I’ve spent at each company since graduating college:
- 2 years at company 1 (resigned to move back to home country)
- 2 years at company 2 (resigned and moved back to the US)
- went back to company 1 (it had grown exponentially after 2 years so came back at higher position) (resigned after 1 year to join a startup at director level)
- 6 months at startup and I want to quit with nothing lined up

I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

Looking to confirm or crush my expectation as part of a business model. Are M&A like technology assessments somewhat standardized for angel investors or do you start by independently evaluating specific platform, data, code, technical architecture issues? I’m assuming there are individuals who seek technology risks for value opportunities while others avoid such risks. Is it common to ignore technology choices or are there other options I’m missing?

What corporate practice has better longevity if your goal is to stay in big law for as long as possible: M&A or Capital Markets?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

Are there any books or other resources that mid levels/seniors/counsel/partners on here have found helpful for the project management / managing junior attorney aspects of your job?

I am not finding a lot of stuff written for lawyers specifically , but there is a lot directed at “managers” in business generally that I imagine could be applicable.

I thought this would help make me look like a stand out on job applications along w/ my international internship but I can’t get an interview for an entry level job at big companies like Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, or Leo Burnett.
