Hired to lead and develop a new PM dept and work on internal projects. 2 months into the job I was told the role would be switching and I'll be working on client work and not one PM processes have be accepted/approved from anyone including the person who hired me, stating its not how things are done.

Had a recent convo and it looks like the team actually just wants secretaries instead of actual PMs.

I had final round interviews last week for the company I really want to work for. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM? I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment?
