Thoughts on potential business ideas or investment opportunities where I can live the life I deserve now and not in retirement? I’m always trying to think of potential business ideas and come up with nothing. As far as interests, it doesn’t matter what it is. As long as it makes money I’m interested.

Question for tax folks. So I have purchased shares of a public ally traded partnership. I have received a K1 and it shows my portion of income. I will report on my tax return and pay tax. Let’s say, I sell this investment. What will be my basis in the stock? My purchase price? Or purchase price plus the income I have reported over the years? I am little confused and thinking about selling this investment. TIA

Anyone US persons with Dual Citizenship who invest in the markets back home? I am wondering if it’s worth it to open an account next time I return, what are tax implications? I know we can get that global exposure through ETFs etc, but not sure that’s what I’m looking for. Hi all, I am trying to DCA bi-weekly into Vanguard ETFs, (VO, VTI etc). It seems like Fidelity does not support auto buying of non-Fidelity ETFs. So I was wondering which of these options you think is best?

1. Open a Vanguard Invest account
2. Look for Fidelity ETFs that are similar to Vanguard ETFs
3. Use smaller brokerages like SoFi l, Robinhood etc.

I really do not want to manage nor be active. My goal is to log-in like once every 6 months.

My father took a home loan, and the same home is kept as mortgage.
I'm paying arround 22k emi for the same but unable to exempt tax as the loan is on my father's name.

I googled a lot how to transfer it but neither gift deed nor sale deed would work as the property is on mortgage that's under bank's ownership (until loan is fulfilled).
Tax is also getting deducted, I'm paying hefty emis.
