I've 5 years of experience into Java Spring boot. I got an offer from Paytm of 32 LPA and 450 units of ESOPs I also have an offer from JPMorgan Chase of 24 Lakhs of fixed pay and 15% ( 3 Lakhs approx. ) of bonus. Another offer from Zee entertainment enterprise ltd / Zeel of 30 LPA. Please help me choose either of these. I'm a little sceptical about Paytm as it is still burning cash. But optimistic as it uses the latest tech. #paytm #jpmc #jpmorgan #chase #choice

After the bonus on September 30th there is going to be a lot of flight.
Yeah im not sure I would ever call a “Senior” at big 4 the equivalent to a “senior software engineer”
P&T is trying to be more like a tech company but titles won’t exactly align like that
I see a big difference in work/life balance between internal Tech and the stresses of client roles. If client roles bring in more money, I can understand them getting paid more. I wouldn’t want the stress of a client role

Definite flight out of P&T and also the GTM team that moved into consulting.
Honestly curious - is Senior Associate software engineer level at PwC supposed to be comparable to a senior software engineer level at a FAANG/etc tech company? It can take a lot longer to get to the senior software engineer level at a tech company than the expected A—>SA promotion timeline at PwC of 2-3 years.
Things to keep in mind
PwC is mostly a Public Accounting company/consulting company being led by partners mostly with that background
Everything should be viewed in that lens, it will make more things at the firm make more sense (not make it perfect/right)
