I don’t get the negativity around this. I’m proud of where I went to school and of being a lawyer. 21 years in practice and I still hang undergrad, law school, and state bar admission at my desk right behind my head. I earned every drop of ink on them. I bought the fancy frames with the medallions, too. But if I were to do it over, I would probably do a cool custom job. If I ever need to get US Supreme Court admission I will frame and hang that one too.
But to OP’s question: Property managers and landlords always have to repaint when you move out. This is your space. Take pride in it. Hang your stuff properly. They can deal with the nail holes.
OP here: I appreciate your insight, and I'm happy to know you are also proud to display your accolades. Thank you for the feedback and suggestion!

Leave em in the envelopes they came in and stick them in the back of your closet and voila, no nail issues!
Same.
My mom had them all framed for me but i leave them in my closet at home. No one where i work hung theirs.
I'll continue the tradition of hanging. Worked hard for these!

I had my diploma custom framed, along with a few art pieces. They were all hung by my building maintenance guy on Day 3 of my employment. With nails. It’s been over decade and I’ve always been happy with my office layout. I’m told it’s cozy.
Your property manager will survive a few nail holes. They should have a line item in their budget for refreshing the space when your company’s lease is up. Being cheap over a few picture nail holes is not going to make a meaningful difference to them, but having a space you enjoy and are comfortable in will make a difference for you.
OP here: Thank you so much!
My diploma is my closet. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone at my firm (NYC big law) hang theirs in their office.
On a side note, the diploma from my MA is… I think recycled into something (I hope, I guess). I left it at home when I moved for law school. My mom, who has no boundaries when it comes to “decluttering” and will “declutter” your stuff without asking, threw it out with a bunch of other paper. Of course, she claims she didn’t, but she absolutely did. I keep forgetting to order a new copy (because I don’t really need it), but she’s absolutely paying for that.
Why no nails?
Requires or prefers?
Mines in my garage lol
Command Jumbo Universal Picture Hanger worked for me (when I was in a firm), and mine were professionally framed and pretty heavy.
OP here: most practical response I've received. Thank you!
My diploma came in a flat envelope but my law license was rolled up in a tube. They stayed there for a couple of decades until a flood, then I finally took them out of the package to dry out.
When my son graduated high school, his diploma was from more than a century ago. It had been rolled up in a cardboard tube about 3/4" diameter. It really didn't want to flatten back out after all that time.
I used these push pin hangers for my diplomas (which were professionally framed and relatively heavy) and they leave a bit smaller holes than nails. They’ve been going strong for 2 years now

They are somewhere in some closet, with my West Point diploma and Commission from the US Congress, which are both in the original tubes. I pulled them out once, to ensure they were for me and signed.
