A landlord isn’t going to do that assuming there will some repairs they have to do with that security deposit. You should just straight up ask the landlord.
Yeah 100% pay.. take video of your move out and leave a forwarding address to help get it refunded. Check laws also, typically if you don’t get an itemized list of deductions within 15 days you will get it all back. Or more if you have to go to small claims.
That's not really how it works. If you leave early, generally you forfeit your last months rent and security deposit because you are breaking the lease agreement. Even with advanced notice, he doesn't have to give you anything at that point. He may also sue you for breaking the lease. I would be careful about how you proceed, unless you have something in writing and notarized from him saying he agreed to let you out of your lease early, this could end badly for y'all.
