How common is it for someone to attend an M7 with the goal of IB/MBB/T2 consulting and strike out without any job offers?

I have an acquitantance (international), that's spent all that money and has no US based job offer to show for it. Jobs back home can't pay off the debt easily.

In mid 40s, recommendation to have 401k portfolio. I have vanguard with only 155k as I started 401k few years back..

What is a typical team structure at MBB for a large corporate strategy project ? For example, portfolio review and growth strategy for group of 3-5 businesses on public holding company. Would that be team of 5? Team of 10? And how involved are partners on a project like that (e.g., more a member of team or more a stakeholder)?

How long did it take you to reach 800+ credit? I have a total of 4 credit cards (averaged 2 yrs) but always seem to hover at 750-780

1040 help.. if I own two homes and loan amounts add up to over 750k, and mortgage interest deduction is limited, can I choose to report only one mortgage (and ignore the other 1098)? Using turbo tax but numbers are not making sense to me.. we bought a new home near end of 2021
