Hey everyone so I’m currently rolling into the staff 2 position at the firm (in the FSO region) and I’m on pace to finishing my CPA by Fall of 2022. Recruiter said they submitted me for a position; I never heard back on that specific firm so reached out myself and firm said they had no prior knowledge or contact with that recruiter and gave me an immediate interview. I ended up joining and just got an email from recruiter saying I’m surprised you didn’t tell me because I submitted you there. Fact is I had an offer from another firm and recruiter was being very shady when I asked to ask firm to connect me with another associate…contd below..

Looking for career pivot/progression advice: I’m at a bit of a crossroads in my career progression. I’ve used my background in education to build my professional experience in a variety of areas, such as learning and development, onboarding, quality assurance, and general coaching.

Now, my current position at a solid tech company combines all of that with other duties, fitting to a jr product manager.
