Hey Fishbowl community! I currently work as a Sales Support Specialist with 3 YOE working at a SaaS company. My dream career is to work at Microsoft or Google. I am open to different opportunities that exceed 80k+ per year. I also have a BA in Business Admin. If anyone can refer me to a great remote position I would greatly appreciate it! 😀
Hi Capgemini people, Till 15th November we have to declare our vaccination status so that they can plan back to office for the employees who are fully vaccinated or having report of not having covid. I am Fully vaccinated but if I declare that I am partially vaccinated will they get to know my bluff? Actually I am not much interested to go back to office as of now may be in february it will be fine for me

I recently left a job where this was a huge problem. Our Lead MA was a Bully! She felt as though since she was there the longest out of the MA’s she expected a certain level of respect above the others. She was unprofessional in the way she spoke, thought she was in charge and could make decisions on everything and everything. I would have other MA’s crying in my office. We recently hired a RN in the office as a triage nurse but was new to the specific field we were in. Again, the Lead MA didn’t want to let go of certain thing and didn’t understand that the RM was allowed to do certain things that she couldn’t with her RN license. The MA was a great MA if she allowed herself to be but was always too worried about being the best or liked the most by the doctors. I had several documented conversations with her to no avail. I went to management above me but they didn’t listen or allow me to do anything more than having conversations with her. I left the position for other reasons but she is still there. When the Director came down to cover my position until a new manager was brought in the MA lied and said she knew how to do staff schedules and lied about the way things were done, four of the 6 MA’s left because of her, she messed up schedules and thought she could tell the RN what to do. Upper management is now dealing with what I tried to tell them for so long. My advice is try to have your communication with her via email so it is documented. If you have verbal conversations with her follow it up in email. They will never change it’s their ego and who they are.
Ugh, the dreaded know it all who clearly doesn't know their own scope of practice. Hopefully the universe will teach them humility before they kill a patient.
Be respectful because some of them know the in and out.. they can be your best ally or your worst enemy…

That sounds really frustrating! It can be tough dealing with someone like that. I’d suggest staying professional and focusing on teamwork. If the manager isn’t helping, it might be worth documenting your experiences and looking for support from colleagues.
