Can provide more details if needed, but if an employee is constantly coughing at work (small retail establishment), is it okay to ask them for a doctor's note stating they aren't contagious? They're claiming it's due to allergies, but I've gotten several confidential concerns from employees and customers alike due to the current enviornment.

Do you require mask wearing, frequent hand sanitizing and social distancing at work ? If so, that may help alleviate any concerns especially right now ?

Working w changing Covid policies and protocols in the past 8 months, I think it may be an education opportunity / agenda topic for all staff meeting or all staff email maybe? Maybe remind all about Covid expectations and ask if anyone has questions / concerns in the protocols you have in place ( if in person meeting and if they don’t want to ask in front of others, they can reach out later)?

Also do you require a daily employee symptom questionnaire ? Is coughing her only symptom ?

like

Yes we do, our process is to have the employee remain home if they are exhibiting symptoms. Symptoms are coughing, sneezing, sniffing, etc.

It’s def annoying bc I have bad allergies and cough due to it and now everyone looks at me with dirty looks. Like chill mind your own business

I’ve had pain and discomfort lately and visited a gyno this week. When they examined me, they mentioned a endometrial (?) cyst on my ovary that I didn’t process fully, and prescribed low-hormone BC to manage the pain. After the visit, I did research and it appears this is a late-stage result of endometriosis, which I have never been diagnosed with (no previous gynos have ever mentioned it). Has anyone had one or have experience with endometriosis? I’m concerned about my fertility (still young).

Looking at HRIS options with a client, 35 staff. They are currently using Namely but it is clunky and doesn’t include some of the things they want (integrated ATS, documents, onboarding and offboarding checklists, time off tracking). ADPRun current payroll and are considering Rippling, BambooHR, and Paylocity. Using JazzHR as an ATS right now but would like to fold that into the HRIS so that they can use those dollars for a more robust perf mgmt system. Any thoughts on these or others?
