Can anyone give an opinion about joining Cognizant Bangalore now ? I have 1.8 YoE and they are offering a pretty good hike but I have heard news like there's managerial changes happening rn and many people are leaving the firm. Your opiniors will greatly help me in making a career decision.
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Listen, ask questions, look stuff up yourself and subscribe to something that sends out tax law/changes so that you stay current on things.
I think BNA portfolios are the best resources. They have great explanations of most code sections and often provide historical or practical context, along with the relevant cross references to other statutes, regs, cases, etc.
Logic or Subchapter K. Also, just experience and the same stuff comes up all the time when you work on the same returns. Other than that, I Google a tax adviser article and read it and trust that is it right to sound like I know what I am taking about.
That is also a good one.

I don't know every section of the IRC like the back of my hand. However, there are a few sections that I have dealt with often in my career and so they tend to stick.
I always look for opportunities to learn, but I don't go out of my way to study some esoteric code section that isn't applicable to my current work.

Usually from working on a project that deals with a specific code section. Giving presentations and having to research new topics. Try giving yourself homework, once a month or as your time permits to prepare a presentation on section of the code that interests you. You don't really know if you understand the code until you try to explain it to someone else.
People still read the code? Color me shocked
