What’s the fast way to become a concept guru?
I am looking to identify committed Christians within Deloitte who would be interested in serving on the US board of a global non-profit committed to restoring the lives of those who have been traumatized via human trafficking or gender-based violence in SE Asia. Deloitte has been instrumental in partnering with Hagar International via pro-bono consulting and we would love to leverage this partnership on our US board.

Well unless you’re the business owner there’s really no reason to care lol. I would just say, “hey I just work here bruh.”
It used to stick with me, too, but I’ve learned that I can’t control what people say. I can only control my response. A deep breath, a friendly reply, and then I move on. No need to take it home with me.
It depends on the circumstances. If I get the sense they're trying it as some negotiation technique, I'll explain that I can't move the price. But I may mention what else we offer, delivery options, service options, whatever. If I get the sense they've doing it just to be difficult, I take a deep breath and let them get on their way.
I have often told people that I appreciate their consideration and I will be ready should the other option not work out.
That depends, i work in a store for a large retail company. When people complain about our prices/quality our response is always that in store we have no say in the prices/quality but they are free to write/email customer service with their complaint
"Don't let the door hit you..."

Politely tell them they're free to go to the competition if they don't like your service, prices, decor, etc....
I'd ask where it's cheaper at because I'm gonna go shop there after my shift is over. LOL!
