One senior partner all alone
Calls two managing directors on the phone
Three associate partners at the door
Bring along another four
Five senior managers come overdressed
Six managers show up with a guest
Seven senior consultants arrive in a sack
Eight associates sneak in the back
Nine analysts come to work

Hi everyone! First time posting here. I am in a good sales role at my current company but it’s my first solid AE role in the tech industry. I am interested in exploring other opportunities as I know there are a lot out there, but is anyone else worried about the current economic state? I’m worried that if I find a new position for a new company and the economy going to sh** that I am worried about job security. Anyone else feel this way?

I recently started at HubSpot as an account executive covering SMB. I’m finishing up training and a Salesforce recruiter reached about a job opening doing pretty much the same thing. Salesforce was near the top of my list of prospective companies. Curious if anyone has experience working there and would recommend it over HubSpot?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? Has anyone successfully made the career move from an HR specialization to an HRBP role? If so, how? I have been working for 7 years in a very niche HR specialization and while I wear many hats on the HR team, I feel like this is hard to express to recruiters or even get an interview for an HRBP role. My niche area has really burnt me out, as it’s very political and I want to expand my horizons. I am already working on completing my GPHR certification. Any other tips?
