You do whatever it takes to make it through. You already said it, you survive. Whatever you have to do. Hide, cry, talk, sleep. Eat pie or ice cream. Numb yourself with Netflix. Post on here. And you take as long as you need in that survival mode. Then you feel 1% better, you do 1% more to get back to status quo.. then when you feel ready, you remember that all of this is just the experience of being human, good, bad, and ugly.
Interesting…
In my personal opinion, it's hard for me, especially with my anxiety.

I try to treat myself the way I'd treat someone I really cared about.

One day at a time. Just do it. Tough to explain.
I personally take a day to cry it out, followed by a hot shower and I grab my Bible or use the Bible app. I have to ask God to guide me through my worst days and sometimes it doesn’t help, but it helps more than you realize. Take one day at a time, and always remember this saying “this too shall pass”, bc if you look and hear that quote in a positive way, it’s actually saying whatever you are feeling, it’s just temporary and things WILL get better. Doesn’t mean more curveballs are to come, but you are worthy and loved by so many people and most of all, you’re not alone.
I wonder the same thing

I just keep on pushing through and knowing it'll get better. I try to do at least a few productive tasks and a few fun activities each day to make it through.

I think I just try to numb myself, which isn’t healthy. But that’s what surviving looks like for me.
Music, calling a friend, talking to Jesus, prayer, crying, reading/ listening to the bibl and taking time to reflect. Maybe not in that exact order, but that's the idea.
