What Account Managers think I do...

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

In general tho less because federal consulting isn’t really real consulting in the opinions of many including myself
Missing the point D4, your reaction is making me believe that Deloitte doesn’t have pockets that don’t compete with these firms. Maybe Deloitte doesn’t.
Booz doesn’t/can’t play in 80% of Mck and ATK’s world but you can ask anyone there, they’ve likely seen Booz in their federal facing world.
You will want to post this in one of the govt bowls bc Booz only does govt consulting really . So it’s kind of hard to compare it to real/commercial consulting.
Booz is starting to do commercial like i am starting to do CrossFit lol. Imma give it a shot but everybody knows nobody will ever take me seriously at it.
All of my friends there who came over to Accenture (federal or commercial) got like 30-40% increases in salary for making the jump lol
For Federal, id say Accenture and Deloitte are better than Booz. Still trying to cling onto their prime before going public. EY and KPMG are a lot smaller so it's tough to compare.
I mean, Booz was THE firm to work for in federal for years. They had a strong reputation beyond Federal. Deloitte or Accenture weren't that big then.
I think Booz Allen federal consulting revenue is head n shoulders above the rest. #thebeltwaybandits
I’ve only worked for Booz and just moved to EY. At BAH, I’ve been on a project where we sold work, did a database implementation, went live, shifted into operations, and then started to perform predictive analytics with the data. Not saying that’s real consulting, but that’s all I know. I thought we were creating end to end solutions
Even within federal consulting BAHs compensation is on the lower side. Deloitte and smaller firms such as Mantech have poached so many people this year. BAH is not even trying to counter much because they rather go hire cheaper talent than keep existing ones.
