We’ve seen a huge boost in supply chain efficiency since integrating AI and automation into our processes. It’s helped with forecasting, inventory management, and route optimization, which allows us to stay ahead of demand and reduce human error. Growing our AI department is definitely a step in the right direction! Curious to hear how you're implementing AI as well!
We have a whole department sparced out for AI last year!
There's some pretty obvious things like - computers/robots do what you tell them to, no questions asked. They don't call in sick. They don't take breaks. Sure, there's things like maintenance and repair, but on the whole I'd say they're way more predictable than people on the whole, allowing for a lot less variability in "labor" and what it can accomplish.
Thank you for sharing! I used to work for a robotics company back in the day too.
