Not hard if you network... I know someone at GS that went from ops to IBD because of her networking.

It's possible. Also I've seen people from ops get into a top Bschool and start as an Associate at a BB.

You'll just have to initially prove you aren't the typical back office personality. You need to hustle, be quick, and show passion and intelligence.

MO is totally doable (if you're talking risk management), and then FO isn't a huge stretch if you excel

I have an offer to return to an executive role in industry and the position is in middle America while my parents live out west. I’ve always had jobs somewhere between TX and IL. EY or Barclays global service center which should i join for career growth and WLB both for pune location. barclays is giving more in terms of package but ey is big4. Confused for choose one.
