Less crowded (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) but nothing is cheaper. Depends what you’re going to Vegas for, but I wouldn’t cancel a trip myself.
It’s more at a macro level that Vegas is dying and the casinos aren’t doing anything to win consumers back.
Just got back from there. All the places that were way overcrowded with super long lines just have mild lines now. Honestly, I enjoyed it a lot more than in the past
Vegas tourism is down 7% for the year. While the businesses will be impacted, I doubt the average visitor will notice.
It’s crazy given that they have added 3 major sports teams (A’s haven’t moved yet). City should be bustling.
The A’s would be a ghost town too, but they’re never finishing that stadium and moving in as long as Fisher is the owner.
Hi Vegas resident here, as others have noted, tourism is down, but ghost town? No. I will say that some of the hotels, despite the downturn, still haven’t decreased their “resort fees”. If you look on YouTube for Jacob’s life in Vegas, he does a monthly rundown of what’s going on, and I think that Up Up & our way (another YouTube) does a live stream from Fremont on a regular basis.
If you like being price gouged, Vegas is fine. Strip will always be busy with football season starting soon. Weekdays are usually slow if there isn't a convention.

It’s becoming less popular because it’s ridiculously expensive now and the perks there over were are gone. Ex: no more luxurious cheap buffets, free drinks that come by during gambling are like once an hour, and if you buy a drink it’s like $25. Combine that with inflation has been up and people’s buying power is down it makes sense why less people are going.
