I have been lvling a rogue. I am only lvl 39 right now but so far I have been doing alright on tier 2 with my build. I am using Twisting blades maxed out plus Dash. Also, Shadow imbued. The goal is to apply shadow, twisting blades, then dash the other direction to clear mass groups of enemies when they explode from shadow. On bosses I struggle a bit but having Dash helps me move out of bad stuff.
I am using Necro, still a bit disappointed with the minions, I hope to find a working minions build. I don't want to be just a dark mage. But the game so far is gorgeous.
I'm playing puncture/pen shot. My build is one of the more Tankiers defensive rogue builds. I don't have all the aspects I need yet but im clearing content pretty quick. I think I'll make it to torment in early 60s since I've been farming the renown up

I’m working with the Sorcerer right now at level 50 and trying to figure out what’s the best end game build. At the moment nothing is really clicking with me at all.

When I first rolled the sorc I was using arc lash and it was one shotting mobs but the range was an issue. Now I feel like I finally have a good system where I just run into a room, hit ice armor, freeze everything, summon the ice swords and then spam either ice orb or ice shards depending on number of enemies and then run away. Standard ice shot is nice because it replenishes mp and all the ice skills seem to feed off each other by causing vulnerability and have special effects if hitting a vulnerable or frozen enemy. Ice swords are nice because they decrease skill cool downs (which were super annoying until I noticed that upgrade)
Took a mid 50s buddy through some t20 nightmare dungeons last night and he struggled as a full fire sorc. He switched up to some ice shard build that kept the fire snake ult and now he’s comfortably surviving and dealing really good dmg
My sorc is great for playing solo, but for group I love playing my Druid! Yes I have two characters going already 😂
It’s so much fun. I’m basically even on levels between the two and it’s just been a riot. I also have been hearing necro is a lot of fun too for solo runs
Got a Barb to 50- clearly the “easiest” for people new to the game! Just started a rogue and it’s been super fun- better risk/reward and visually great.
Highly recommend Maxroll for build guides. Totally changed my experience as a first time Diablo player

I tried a few of the sorcerer builds and I just dislike the end game ones. Are you using the leveling up one or the end game? I found Kripps to have some solid ones.

I’ll surely buy this game at some point, but still feeling a little sad they cut the class I’ve been playing for years.

Playing barb - whirlwind build. Too early to tell but this build appears to be best self sustain
60 Rogue and I play w my barb friend. He’s definitely more survivable but end game rogue has so much flash when you’re playing effectively that I just absolutely love my build and don’t see any way to change. That being said, he was able to clear the Tier4 access dungeon at 61 and I am stuck on last boss at 60. Think it’s worth noting he has all renown and I do not so definitely worth it to go out and get as much renown as you can for the 20 (lmao) extra paragon points you can get
Struggling with sorc dps in the mid 30s. Pyro is better than ice, but fragile. Lightning wasn’t my thing. Spent 30 minutes clearing a stronghold earlier today when the end boss kept wiping me out. Id like more burst damage, but need more levels to get there.

Tbh I'm only high teens lvl rn and worried that I rolled a sorc purely to play with my buddy. He got distracted and I went to clear a cellar while I waited for him and the slaughterer was there and I died immediately. Feel like with my rogue I could have beat it solo and now I'm worried my sorc is only viable with him and that I'll be left with a useless character once we stop partying
Pulverize bear druid. I tried other builds but this one is both tanky and hits hard.
