When do you and your SO start telling each other your income? I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years. We are not married or living together. He knows how much I make because I told him after my promotion. He is the entrepreneur type with a passive income gig. His business has been very slow since covid but he just seem to be chillin at home. He never tells me if he is doing financially okay so when I asked. He got offended and asked me to drop the topic because he is doing okay.

If anyone is struggling with gyms being closed etc, I joined Obé Fitness an online platform right before Covid...Life changing!!! Gave up my gym membership and haven’t looked back.

How many of y’all have access to online meeting software and which ones? Do you plan on using these more during the Coronavirus scare? To be clear: I’m not scared, just wondering how folks will adapt.

Coronavirus family drama - supposed to take a vacation to OCNJ in two weeks with the in-laws, two brother-in-laws and their wives. MIL is super worried about the virus. Wants everyone to isolate and get tested. We are. Already doing this, but no testing. Debating whether it’s even worth it to go anymore. This housing market is not sustainable. It can't be. 475k townhome with 10% down payment at 2.8% was $2560 all in(Mortgage, PMI, Taxes, Insurance). With the interest rate hikes, a buyer would now pay $3360. Sure people have money and will still pay $3360 but for the majority of the population, things cannot continue like this. It might not be 2008 but there is a bubble somewhere in this economy that’s going to drive prices back down

My first experience at Deloitte was that staffers were a last resort. It was an explicit expectation that you should develop internal networks to get staffed. This was mid 2010s At my current firm (ZS) the reliance on staffers is being pushed more and more, with staffers pushing back when we identify our own resources. I think personal responsibility is both more efficient for all parties and builds skills. But perhaps I am biased from time at D. What’s the situation at your firm re: staffers?

So I learned today that my old CEO wanted to fire me while I was on maternity leave because "she isn't bringing in revenue and she's costing money." And he said I took "extra time" even though there was no actual policy, so they told me to take at least 12 weeks AND the COO approved it herself without issue. I want to text everyone who still works there and put CEO on blast. Someone tell me not to.
