How is the feeling in your groups regarding STI & salary hike ?

I am having 7 yrs of experience and getting 35 lpa paid in paytm. Am i underpaid? What should be my actual salary if i got 5 star rating and awards as well?

Hi All, I have two offers on hand.

1. Deloitte - 12.5 LPA Fixed + 1.25L Variable along with 2L joining bonus and 2L retention bonus.

2. PWC - 13 LPA Fixed + 2L joining bonus and permanent WFH.

Yoe is 2.8 and tech stack is DotNet Dev.

Which one would be better to join, considering the CTC, benefits and WLB?

I think I am slipping into depression. My life seems to have no meaning and all I do is work. I don't get time for myself or my family, friends and loved ones. But I can't leave my job and take a break as I need the financial support.

I also feel I am earning way less than my peers which makes me feel like a loser. 4.5 years of work-ex and 16LPA.

Has any companies given their employees good raises to help with the rising costs of everything? I was a top performer and only got around 3% this last year.

72k + 7% bonus + WFH permanently

Or

90k hybrid 2-3 days in the office. (20min drive now however I am moving an 1.5 hours away)

They both have their benefits and company match.

The 90k is also a new team so a lot of growth opportunity while the 72k is well established team. If this matters at all.

Promoted to Manager from Senior Consultant 2 in Business Consulting Risk Advisory. Current package is INR 17.5 L fixed with 7.5 years of total work experience. Bonus received is 25%.

A coworker (diff depts) and I realized we live in the same neighborhood after running into each other on the street. We started talking more in the office and he ended one convo with “we should get drinks sometime”. I gave him my number via slack and said to hit me up when he wants to get together. Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying.
