How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

I aim for one a day, unless my kids are too tired for their bedtime story.
One a week? Who are you trying to impress to be a pseudo intellectual?
About 2 per week, but I'm reading fiction and avoiding business stuff - reading is an escape, not a way to do more career oriented thinking.
Damn cálmate D1, OP probably just wants to have some personal goals. Doesn't need to impress anyone with it
Usually about 20 but I'm starting to go for quality over quantity. Meaning some books I read a couple of times to master the information
I normally read when I'm going to sleep. I might make it through three pages before I'm zonked. Thus, One Year = One Book.
About one or two a month. Depending on the project and how much time I have on a flight.
Over the last 4 years averaged 25, Audible, Amazon, and Goodreads makes a very different flight experience.
I have stopped reading altogether used to read a book in a day/three
What kinds of books do you all read? I mostly read history, crime, and politics. I'm guessing many consultants read self help and finance thoufg
I read fast and usually read for an hour every night and more on the weekends
I used to be a really voracious reader, now that I'm in this job i set a target of one a month which is perfect for me, because achievable. Mix like 45% classics, 45% flavor of the month fiction, 10% self help
About 1 a month while staffed. I read during take off / landing / immigration / commuting though, not at night typically. And I definitely read fiction not self help or finance!
I've been reading books on leadership, wealth, and success. Think and Grow Rich, the Compound Effect, 10X Rule, Relentless....I've got a list of them
About 50-60 books a year. I switch off between fiction and non-fiction
If you really want to retain the knowledge and have a chance to reflect on what you read, I think a book a month is pretty reasonable
*though
I used to read a book a week . That's no longer the case. Work , kids, and recently TV, have sucked some of my free time.
How do you manage that? I can get some quality reading time before sleeping and on the weekends but that's often not enough.
