How many field trips do you get to plan or go on each year?

This year it looks like I will get to take my first one since COVID Lockdown

One a year, and as many reverse field trips as we can find.

Believe it or not, we are one of the only remaining walking school districts. We have 7 elementary buildings, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. Yes, our students walk to school. (Some get driven by parents.) Because of this reality we had to schedule busses way in advance. (The district owned two busses and employed two permanent drivers.) With a district of at least 6k students, I would often go in the first day and schedule our year end picnic, and one Science field trip we took every year. We use to be able to schedule as many trips as we wanted, but because of gas prices and our high school renovation (75 million dollars!) admin cut it down to two trips for each team.

Hi all! I work at a nonprofit and am looking to leave the organization. As I browse available positions in my area, I’m realizing there is a LOT of crossover between my current org and others, for example shared board members, folks who are on our board and employed at one of the institutions I’m interested in, etc.. Is there a way to say “my current org doesn’t know I’m looking, so please treat my interest with discretion” that doesn’t raise red flags? Thanks!

My uncle does this (he’s a realtor) and usually gets 2-3x return. Obviously there is huge risk because property prices can change a lot in 1-2 years, but at the same time the upside is hard to ignore.

Anyway I protect myself against the downside risk? (other than loosing my down payment)
