I bartend on weekends and some nights during the week when I can. I feel like I'm losing my mind and constantly running on fumes. As much as I hate it, quitting either isn't an option for me. I realistically need to work more than I have been, not less 😔
A lot of people in retail that I know mix their main job with service-industry shifts like bartending or freelance in their skill set, gig work (rideshare, delivery, tutoring). The key is picking something that either pays a premium for short bursts or builds a skill/asset, so you’re not just trading more hours for the same low rate.

me when I can even if it is one day I do it

For many years, I worked so many hours, 6 to 7 days a week, there wasn't a time for a 2nd job. I always wanted one, didn't realise it was a case of be careful what you wish for.
Then I moved back to the big city. My salary was great in a small town with reasonable housing prices and everything. In the big city, a 2nd and even 3rd side gig became absolutely necessary.
There are a number of side gigs out there. Uber and the like being the most well known. The problem is, first of all, you are using your car, and the wear and tear on your car will almost certainly be more than the revenue you generate. (I look at it as trading future wear and tear for money today). Additionally, as an independent contractor, your tax situation changes completely. You have to keep track of mileage, expenses, everything. And you need to know how to utilise that information to do your taxes, or the self-employment taxes (pretty much 15% on every dollar profit you have) will kill you.
A part-time job is easier, but has become even harder to come by. Everyone wants open availability. And a lot of businesses cut hours back during covid, and haven't gone back to late nights and 24 hour operations, meaning that there is limited opportunity to have a full time job and pick up a part-time job as well.
