Saw your response to another comment on this post. Take the MBB offer. Big4 and Accenture don’t come close. The hours will be somewhat worse, but it’s not like consulting in general is a 9-5 job, whether it’s MBB or not. The pay, growth, projects, and exit opps are in another league. The work will be more interesting, you’ll be paid more initially, and the gap just keeps getting bigger. Benefits/perks are way better. Path to partner/promotions are also faster. If you actually end up not liking it, you can always leave for most exit opps you might want with MBB on the resume.
SM-3-5 yrs to MD

I think I would always have a bit of regret if I turned down an MBB offer. And if you’re only reason is workload then once you’re out your future self will wish u stuck it out. Cmon man don’t back down from the fire. U only get one life. You’ve been given the opportunity of a lifetime to step up on the big stage. Take it. MBB 100%

12 years for Analyst to MD.
Fastest I've seen is 8 years.
I understand thinking long term but I wouldn’t factor in how fast you can become MD when evaluating your first job. I would evaluate based on your goals in the next 2-5 years.
