I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. I just want to say to the recruiters at this company, who insinuate that a potential candidate has the opportunity to become hire, only to call them by phone and say “we didn’t “ pick you is unprofessional and tasteless. Remember you were once a candidate and one day may have to be a candidate again. Getting somewhat of an understanding how the culture is from the interview, I am glad that first I have a job and that I didn’t get picked.
