So I’m in luxury condo-op (not a rental) and we have what’s called a resident manager. He and his family live for free in a 3 bedroom apartment here (which sells for around 2.5M)…not sure what he does day to day since our building has other staff for concierge and packages and maintenance but I guess he handles all the complaints and issues in the building and manages all the staff? Not sure his salary but I mean, the fact he doesn’t pay rent is already amazing
